Shop Your Own Closet: Winter

If you know anything about me, you know I LOVE to shop. Shopping is what keeps me sane. It is my stress reliever and (in my mind) a good study break. I always feel like I need more and more and more. Sometimes I step into my closet and feel like I have nothing to wear, when in reality that is a huge lie. So, February will be a month where I will choose to shop in my own closet rather then shop at my favorite stores. I put together 7 outfits from different items from my wardrobe. I chose 6 tops, 4 pairs of pants, 4 different pairs of shoes, 2 scarfs, and 1 necklace. These are everyday outfits that can be worn to school or when you are out on the weekend.

This goes to show how a few pieces can go a long way when you are mixing and matching. One key thing to keep your eye out for  is the availability to layer the pieces or not. Layering adds versatility to the piece and helps create many more looks. It also helps to have some patterned shirts (such as the flannel and stripped shirt) and some solid things to layer with them (cream and maroon sweaters) I hope these outfits inspire you to go shopping in your own closet!! I would love to see any of the outfits you can put together!

Reese's Bottom Cheesecakes

These Reese's Bottom Cheesecakes are a fun spin on the classic cheesecake. They are also super easy and quick to make. These were gone within a few hours at my house!

Ingredients
  •  1 box of JELLO instant no-bake cheesecake mix
  •  12 Reese's Peanut Butter cups
  • 1 cup of mini chocolate chips
  • Paper cupcake liners
  •  Cupcake pan

Steps
 1. Line the cupcake pan with liners and place a Reese's cup at the bottom of each.

2. Follow the steps on the JELLO instant no-bake cheesecake mix. The mix should be thick when you are done mixing

3. With a spoon, place the cheesecake mix on the top of each Reese's cup. Fill each almost to the top.

4. Mix the crust mix provided and 1 cup of mini chocolate chips.

5. Sprinkle on top of each mini cheesecake.

6. Put the cheesecakes in the freezer for 1 hour.

7. Enjoy your little cheesecake!
